Slow news cycles make for short round-up posts. Tomorrows will be even shorter. Non-existent in fact as I have church meetings and work tomorrow evening and night. I'll be back over the weekend but may be spotty after Christmas as I'll have family visiting. Until then, enjoy the links.
Colorado
- Governor Hickenlooper say the state will appeal the Lobato decision. Whether anyone agrees that schools are underfunded or not, the Governor and Legislators don't like it when judges try to tell them how to do their jobs.
Everywhere else
- Oh, good. More EPA rules that will threaten the ability of companies to provide sufficient power to a more and more energy dependent population.
- The EFF has put out a list of tips for bloggers to protect themselves from governments who might want to shut them down. It good to keep in mind even for bloggers in "free" states like the United States. After all it's not like Congress is working a censorship bills or anything.
- Did you know that if kids don't like what schools are serving for lunch they won't eat it? Apparently, Michelle Obama and schools that adopted her school lunch program didn't.
- There's a quarter million dollars of subsidies for each Chevy Volt sold. It wouldn't be so high if people actually bought the overpriced pieces of crap.
