Thanks to my body choosing to inflict pain to rival watching another GOP presidential debate, I'm working on very little sleep. On the plus side, my level of snark is up. Sadly, little of it made it into this post. For as little as one comment a day, you can give the gift of snark to an underprivileged blog post. Won't you do it for the children?
Colorado
- Sal Pace will be getting a lot of help from the national Democrat party. Keep that in mind when he starts complaining about "outside" money influencing the race.
- As long as Colorado has to tighten its governmental belt, someone will complain about being unable to spend money.
- The House passed a bill calling for a Constitutional Convention to repeal ObamaCare. Not only is a convention unnecessary but you don't amend the Constitution to repeal a law.
- Diana DeGette is running for a ninth term in the House. Denver would elect a sack of rocks if it had "Democrat" stamped on the side.
- On the other side of the coin, Sen. John Morse has decide not to run for Congress. He's content to screw over Coloradans.
- Once again, Democrats show that they are more than happy to eliminate free speech.
Everywhere else
- Rick Perry has a fever and the only cure is more ... Newt Gingrich. Newt's own fever was cured by an open marriage or not.
- A 100 percent tax on income above "a reasonable profit"? It's like the Democrats are pulling ideas straight out of Atlas Shrugged.
- 18 senators bailed from PIPA when they realized that Americans don't like censorship and were quite vocal about it.
- You know, if you're going to push a bill targeting copyright infringement, you may want to make sure you're not infringing yourself. SOPA author Rep. Lamar Smith was among the humiliated.
- Democrats have savaged Mitt Romney over his time at Bain Capital. That hasn't stopped them from pulling in more Bain Bucks than Republicans.
"I’d like to challenge Obama to 3 hour Lincoln Douglas debate … he can use teleprompter, I’ll use knowledge." -- Newt Gingrich
